How to Submit to Thunderbird Media

Thunderbird Media only publishes creator-owned material! In other words, we want to publish YOUR comics -- we aren't looking to have you work on books that WE dream up. When you're submitting comics to us, we expect it to be something original. Thunderbird Media accepts only PROPOSALS for new web comic series with a possibility for future printing.

The web comics that Thunderbird Media publishes are creator owned/creator generated properties and WE DON'T PAY PAGE RATES.  Thunderbird Media web comics are supported through ad revenue which is divided between creators after expenses.  Any future printing of collected web comics will be negotiated with creators/owners.

A PROPOSAL should contain the following:

1. A cover letter with all contact information (name, e-mail address, address, phone and fax numbers) clearly printed on the TOP of the page.  If you've had published work you could let us know about it (or even include it) but we don't need your resumé.

2. Send us a one page synopsis of the overall story. We DO NOT want a single-issue synopsis, we want a synopsis of the ENTIRE series, make us interested.

3. Email us links to completed art or low res versions of completed art.  We'd like to see AT LEAST five pages that are fully inked and lettered. We prefer to publish our web comics in an 800 wide by 600 tall format so please keep that in mind when creating your art.  Other dimensions will be considered but preference will be given to those comics that conform to our preferred size.  If you have MORE than five finished pages, we are more than happy to read through them all.

4. Include a logo mock-up.  A good logo can help sell a comic and highlights your professionalism,  so show us what you can do.

5. Email all items to submissions@webcomicfun.com

6. We will review all submissions and reply as soon as possible.  Please allow us some time as we may have many other comics to review.
